9.00 a.m.   Monks and lay people gather at the temple

10.00 a.m. Pay respect to the Triple Gems, undertake the Five Precepts and chant

10.45 a.m. Give rice and dried foods into the alms bowls

11.00 a.m. Offer lunch to monks then have lunch together

1.00 p.m. Offer Kathina (robe) to monks and listen to dhamma talk

the ceremony is complete
